Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms
By using repairkithub.com (the "Site"), operated by Canamax Corp ("RepairKitHub," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site. By using RepairKitHub, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. The Site is intended for visitors in the United States and other jurisdictions where its use is lawful; it's your responsibility to make sure your use of the Site complies with the laws that apply to you.
What RepairKitHub Is — and Isn't
RepairKitHub is an informational resource about home appliance repair. We publish troubleshooting content such as our repair guides and install guides, symptom-based diagnostics, and parts-compatibility information for major appliance brands, and our compatibility tools and guides link out to Amazon when they reference a specific part.
RepairKitHub does not sell, stock, ship, or fulfill any physical product. We have no shopping cart, no checkout process, and no payment system. Every purchase a reader makes happens on a third-party site — almost always Amazon — under that site's own terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies. We are not a party to that transaction and cannot process refunds, exchanges, or shipping claims on Amazon's behalf. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more detail on how our Amazon links work.
Repair Information Is for Reference Only
The troubleshooting steps, symptom guides, error-code explanations, and compatibility data on this Site are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not professional repair advice, and they are not a substitute for your appliance's official service manual, a licensed technician, or guidance from the appliance manufacturer.
Safety Comes First
Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, water, and moving mechanical parts, any of which can cause serious injury or property damage if handled incorrectly. Before attempting any repair described on this Site:
- Disconnect the appliance from its power source (unplug it or switch off the breaker).
- Shut off the gas supply line if the appliance is gas-powered.
- Shut off the water supply if the repair involves plumbing connections.
- If you are unsure about any step, stop and hire a licensed appliance technician instead.
Any repair you perform after reading content on this Site is done entirely at your own risk. RepairKitHub, Canamax Corp, and our contributors are not liable for injury, property damage, appliance damage, or any other loss that results from attempting a repair described here.
Compatibility Data May Contain Errors
We work to keep part numbers and compatibility listings accurate, but appliance manufacturers change models, revise part numbers, and apply running production changes without notice, so our data can fall out of date or simply contain a mistake. Before buying any part, always verify the part number against your specific appliance's model and serial plate (usually a sticker inside the door, behind a panel, or on the back of the unit) and cross-check it with the listing on the retailer's site. RepairKitHub makes no warranty, express or implied, that any part listed as compatible will fit or function correctly with your appliance.
Errors and Corrections in Site Content
We work to keep our guides, symptom diagnostics, and other written content accurate, but errors can occur. We reserve the right to correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission in our content, and to update, remove, or reorganize any page on the Site, at any time and without prior notice.
Third-Party Purchases
All product purchases referenced from this Site take place on third-party platforms, primarily Amazon.com. Those purchases are governed entirely by that platform's own terms of service, pricing, availability, shipping timelines, and return or refund policies. We encourage you to review Amazon's terms before buying. RepairKitHub receives no order data, payment data, or shipping data from these transactions — we simply link to them, and, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure, we may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.
Trademarks and Brand Names
Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, LG, Samsung, KitchenAid, Amana, Maytag, and other appliance brand names referenced on this Site are trademarks of their respective owners. RepairKitHub is an independent publisher and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by any of these manufacturers. We use brand and model names strictly to identify which appliances a given part or guide applies to — a practice known as nominative fair use — not to imply any partnership.
Intellectual Property
The text, guides, illustrations, and compilation of compatibility data on this Site belong to Canamax Corp, except for third-party trademarks noted above. You may read, print, and reference our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, scrape, or resell our guides or compatibility database without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RepairKitHub and Canamax Corp disclaim all warranties of any kind regarding the content on this Site and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including personal injury, property damage, or lost savings — arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before starting a formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] with a written description of the dispute and the outcome you're seeking. We'll try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Binding Arbitration
If informal resolution doesn't work, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver
You and Canamax Corp agree that any claim will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in a class or representative proceeding. If a court or arbitrator finds this waiver unenforceable, the arbitration requirement above will not apply and the dispute will be resolved in court instead.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canamax Corp and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Site, or your violation of another person's rights.
Severability
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms will remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time as RepairKitHub's content and features evolve. Updates take effect as soon as we post them, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms.
