Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 2026
RepairKitHub (operated by Canamax Corp) participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What an affiliate link actually is
An affiliate link is a normal product or search link with a tracking code attached to it. It does not change the page you land on, the price you see, or the item you receive — it simply tells Amazon that the click came from RepairKitHub, so we can be credited if a purchase follows. Nothing about the link is hidden or disguised; every outbound product link on this site works this way. You cannot tell, just by looking at a link, whether it carries an affiliate code or not — the destination and the price are identical either way. That is exactly why disclosure pages like this one exist: so the relationship is on record even though it is invisible during normal browsing.
Where these links actually go
When you click a part on RepairKitHub, the link sends you to an Amazon search results page for that part number or part name — not to a page we control, and not to a guaranteed single listing. You choose which listing and which seller to buy from once you arrive, exactly as you would from any other Amazon search. We link to a search rather than one fixed listing because the same part is often sold by more than one seller, at different prices or with different shipping options — a search lets you compare those yourself instead of being routed to whichever listing happens to pay the highest commission.
What this costs you
Nothing. If you click through and buy something on Amazon, the price is identical to what you would pay by searching for the same item directly on Amazon yourself. Any commission we may earn comes out of Amazon's margin, not out of your wallet, and it comes at no additional cost to you. Any tracking cookie set during that process belongs to Amazon, not to RepairKitHub — see our privacy policy for what this site itself collects.
Commissions do not influence compatibility data
We only link to parts that our compatibility database already lists as matching a given appliance model. Our compatibility listings are built from manufacturer part data, not from which items pay the highest commission — a part is not added to, removed from, or ranked higher on a page because of its potential commission. If a part has no commission-eligible link available, it still appears in our compatibility results.
No manufacturer affiliation
RepairKitHub is an independent, informational site. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, KitchenAid, Bosch, Frigidaire, or any other appliance manufacturer referenced on this site. Brand and model names are used only to identify which parts fit which appliances.
FTC compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose our affiliate relationship on this page and in the footer of every page on our site.
