About Us

RepairKitHub is a free, publicly accessible compatibility database and repair-guide library for home appliances. It exists to answer one question quickly: which part fits my exact washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, range, or microwave, and how do I install it myself.

What RepairKitHub is

The site cross-references appliance model numbers against the parts known to fit them, and pairs that data with step-by-step repair guides written for DIY homeowners and independent repair technicians. There is no product catalog to browse and nothing added to a cart — you look up your model, find the part that matches it, and read the guide for installing it.

In practice that means two connected things: a searchable compatibility index that maps a model number to the parts known to fit it, and a library of guides that walk through both symptoms — why is a dishwasher not draining, why is a dryer not heating — and installations — how to remove and install one specific part. The two are meant to be used together: start from a symptom or a part number, confirm it against your own appliance's model plate, then follow the matching guide.

Where the data comes from, and its limits

Our compatibility data is cross-referenced from manufacturer part listings and parts-catalog information across appliance models. We work to keep it accurate, but a database this size can contain errors, gaps, or outdated entries — especially for older or less common models. Always verify a part against the model and serial plate on your own appliance before you order or install anything. If you are not sure where that plate is, see how to find your model number.

Coverage spans the appliance types most homeowners repair themselves — washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, and microwaves — across a wide range of manufacturers. Coverage is not perfectly even: well-documented, popular models tend to have more complete part listings than obscure or very old ones, which is another reason to double-check against your own plate rather than assume a listing is exhaustive.

What RepairKitHub deliberately does not do

  • It does not sell parts directly.
  • It does not ship anything.
  • It does not take payments or store payment details.
  • It does not process orders or returns.

Every product link on this site routes to an Amazon search for that part number. Amazon handles the transaction, shipping, and any returns entirely on its own — RepairKitHub is not involved in that purchase in any way beyond pointing you to it. This also means we cannot offer a shipping estimate, a return window, or a refund on anything you buy after leaving this site — Amazon's own policies govern that purchase.

How this site is funded

RepairKitHub participates in the Amazon Associates program and may earn a small commission when a visitor follows one of our links and buys something on Amazon, at no additional cost to that visitor. Commission potential does not influence which parts we list as compatible with a given model — the compatibility data and the affiliate links are separate systems. This is the same model used by many independent comparison and reference sites: we do the work of matching parts to models, and if that work leads you to buy something, we may earn a small referral fee from the retailer, never from you. Full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.

Who operates RepairKitHub

RepairKitHub is operated by Canamax Corp, a company registered in Wyoming, USA. RepairKitHub is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the appliance manufacturers whose parts appear in our database.

Who this site is for

RepairKitHub is built for two kinds of visitors: DIY homeowners who are following a repair guide or video and just need to confirm they are ordering the right part, and independent repair technicians who want a fast way to cross-check a part number against a customer's model before a job. If you can use a screwdriver, follow numbered steps, and take basic safety precautions like unplugging an appliance before opening it, most of our guides are written with you in mind.
